Rely? Exams? Birthday?

Assalamualaikum,

sebelum tros membaca, jom selawat dulu.^^

Sabda Rasullah SAW : Barangsiapa yang berselawat keatasku sekali,nescaya Allah akan turunkan rahmat keatasnya 10 kali ganda - (hari Muslim.)

seperti biasa, saya ingin memohon maaf atas kealpaan utk lambat update blog ni smpai da berhabuk. salah satu sbbnya adalah Twitter. salahkan dia. ok. xd point. sebenaranya busy ckt lately ni. anway, wat have I been doing for the past one month or so dat I really wanna share with u guys is about?



1.pergantungan hidup dengan Allah
                 
   During my family attachment sheme, where every medical student is assigned to a specific family and we need to explore about themselves, the illness and how they cope with it. One day during the interview, I was so inspired seeing how an Irish woman really rely on God ultimately.

 "what keep you strong after the accident?"

"I always talked to Him. I pray etc.."

See? how a non-Muslim pun sgt bergantung sepenuhnya kpd Tuhan. We as a Muslim perlu la berlebih2 lagi. its amazing that sometimes depa lebih mempraktikkan Islam itu daripada org Muslim sndri.

“	I went to the West and saw Islam, but no Muslims; I got back to the East and saw Muslims, but not Islam.	”
	— Muhammad Abduh

And what me even ponder myself like sometimes we only regard as supplications as the only means to talk to Allah, but when in fact its every single moment we can always talk to Allah. Make dzkir in your heart etc.Don't separate your "deen"-religion with your daily activities.

2. Live your live like an exam! 


Indeed our life now is like an exam- many challenges coming along the way. and the exam date we never  know exactly when! but it is CERTAIN that there will be one day that we will judged by Allah. so, are we prepared for the 'exams'? We never know when we'll be ready.

But along the way, we HAVE to make efforts to prepare for the exams. so that we won't fail the exams.but remember in mind that studying only would not guarantee you to score in the exams, but rather its the blessings from Him. and indeed all the strength come from Allah. so, always remember Allah in every thing you do..

P/S: that means you need to study hard and smart AND at the same time to rely to Allah only.

3. My 2nd birthday experience in Ireland.

Blessed with all the people around me, family, friends and most importantly to Allah. Alhamdulillah. =)

no words could payback Allah's blessing to us, and if we were to count His blessing, we would never be able to do that. This year my new vision is to be matured! to think like what Sultan Muhammad al-Fateh thinks. He was only 21 when he conquered Constantinopole!

lets learn from this great history and try to live up their strong spirits and faith! =))

Look at a bigger picture!

P/S: this sunday, In Shaa Allah we'll be going to have a trip to Berlin and Turkey to explore the world. dan mengambil ibrah kisah perjuangan Sultan Muhammad al-Fateh dan tenteranya.Doakan kteorg slamat pergi dan balik. =)

Post Community Week. =)

Alhamdulillah, All praise to Allah for making this Community Week a success. we had  enjoyable time together. May Allah accept our good deeds. We would also like to thanks all the participants, volunteers, donators and committee members for a successful Community Week. We ask Allah to accept all efforts and contributions and guide us to the straight path.Jazakumullahu khairan jaza' (May Allah reward you with goodness) Aminn. =))

so, the main cause is to raise fund for the Cork Childrens' Leukemia Association by doing bake sale fundraising. its one of the activities that we usually organize annually in Islamic Society (Isoc). the response was so good, that even there's people coming again for more food. muffins, cupcakes, sandwiches, brownies, marble cake, onigiri (Japan delicacies), spring rolls n a long list of other Malaysians food to be written. they were so good, mouth watering!! hehe. =))

Other than that, we also collaborate with Discover Islam Ireland, which they had invited Sheikh Mcarthy to give a talk about the" Methodology Of the Prophet Muhammad". it was a great talk! and one of the steps of Prophet Muhammad SAW that he mentioned n really strikes me is that:

Be the role model! Act upon it first!

yes! be proactive, do what you preach or say to others, always try to improve yourself n others too Sometimes, I guess its not because of the lack of knowledge, but its because we are too scared, too embarrassed to break free from our comfort zone. to really shift our paradigm! 

from my own experience, being able to promote the food during the bake sale requires high courage! yes, at first you will feel scared etc, but as  you try n push yourself to the next level, u will soon discover that you yourself are capable of doing it. n as u practice, u will improved a lot. its juz the  matter of trying. And to do that, u need courage n smile! hehe. =)

And last night, was one of my best night because we learn a lot from each other. to see other people's goodness, to believe in yourself despite all the challenges u think you are not capable of coping with it, Allah knows best.

                                                          

Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.

kelebihan Hari Arafah. =)

Amal Istimewa pada Hari Arafah bagi yang Tidak Sedang Haji

Amal Istimewa Hari Arafah | Hari Arafah merupakan hari yang istimewa. Pada tanggal 9 Dzulhijjah ini jama'ah haji sedang menjalankan wukuf di Arafah, sebuah rukun haji yang bisa disebut paling inti. Lalu bagaimana dengan kita yang tidak sedang menjalankan ibadah haji? Berikut ini beberapa amal istimewa yang perlu dilakukan oleh umat Islam yang tidak sedang pergi Haji pada hari Arafah ini:


1. Puasa Arafah
Amal istimewa pada hari Arafah yang memiliki keutamaan luar biasa adalah puasa Arafah. Puasa Arafah merupakan puasa sunnah yang sangat dianjurkan, sunnah muakad. Diantara keutamaan puasa Arafah adalah dihapuskannya dosa selama dua tahun:

سُئِلَ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ فَقَالَ يُكَفِّرُ السَّنَةَ الْمَاضِيَةَ وَالْبَاقِيَةَ

Rasulullah SAW pernah ditanya tentang puasa hari Arafah, beliau menjawab, “Puasa itu menghapus dosa satu tahun yang lalu dan satu tahun berikutnya.” (HR. Muslim)

Selain dihapuskannya dosa satu tahun sebelumnya dan satu tahun sesudahnya, puasa Arafah juga memiliki keutamaan lain. Selengkapnya bisa dibaca di artikel 3 Keutamaan Puasa Arafah

2. Berdoa / Memperbanyak Doa
Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda:

خَيْرُ الدُّعَاءِ دُعَاءُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ

“Sebaik-baik do’a adalah do’a pada hari Arafah." (HR. Tirmidzi, hasan)

Para ulama menjelaskan bahwa maksud sebaik-baik doa pada hadits tersebut adalah doa pada Hari Arafah paling cepat dipenuhi/dikabulkan Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.

Oleh karena itu, mari kita perbanyak doa pada hari Arafah. Doa apa yang dibaca? Terserah Anda. Tidak ada batas khusus. Anda bisa berdoa untuk kebaikan akhirat, juga bisa untuk kebaikan dunia. Namun sebaiknya Anda tidak meninggalkan doa untuk dijaga/diselamatkan Allah dari neraka karena Arafah adalah hari pembebasan dari neraka.

مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْتِقَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ عَبْدًا مِنَ النَّارِ مِنْ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ

“Di antara hari yang Allah banyak membebaskan seseorang dari neraka adalah hari Arafah” (HR. Muslim)

3. Memperbanyak Dzikir
Amal istimewa lainnya pada hari Arafah adalah memperbanyak dzikir, khususnya yang diajarkan Nabi. Dalam hadits riwayat Tirmidzi di atas, setelah menyebutkan sebaik-baik doa adalah pada hari Arafah, beliu menunjukkan sebaik-baik ucapan/dzikir, yaitu membaca :

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Artinya: Tidak ada Ilah kecuali Allah semata, tidak ada sekutu bagi-Nya. MilikNyalah segala kerajaan dan segala pujian, Allah Maha Menguasai segala sesuatu

Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda:

خَيْرُ الدُّعَاءِ دُعَاءُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ وَخَيْرُ مَا قُلْتُ أَنَا وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ قَبْلِى لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

“Sebaik-baik yang kuucapkan, begitu pula diucapkan oleh para Nabi sebelumku adalah ucapan “Laa ilaha illallah wahdahu laa syarika lah, lahul mulku walahul hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli syai-in qadiir” (HR. Tirmidzi, hasan)

Keempat: Puasa pada hari Arafah akan mengampuni dosa dua tahun. Dari Abu Qotadah, Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِى قَبْلَهُ وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِى بَعْدَهُ وَصِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِى قَبْلَهُ

“Puasa Arafah (9 Dzulhijjah) dapat menghapuskan dosa setahun yang lalu dan setahun akan datang. Puasa Asyuro (10 Muharram) akan menghapuskan dosa setahun yang lalu” (HR. Muslim no. 1162).

Kelima: Hari Arafah adalah hari pengampunan dosa dan pembebasan dari siksa neraka. Dari ‘Aisyah, ia berkata bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْتِقَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ عَبْدًا مِنَ النَّارِ مِنْ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَدْنُو ثُمَّ يُبَاهِى بِهِمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ فَيَقُولُ مَا أَرَادَ هَؤُلاَءِ

“Di antara hari yang Allah banyak membebaskan seseorang dari neraka adalah hari Arofah. Dia akan mendekati mereka lalu akan menampakkan keutamaan mereka pada para malaikat. Kemudian Allah berfirman: Apa yang diinginkan oleh mereka?” (HR. Muslim no. 1348).
Allah pun begitu bangga dengan orang yang wukuf di Arafah. Dari ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al ‘Ash, ia berkata bahwa Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُبَاهِى مَلاَئِكَتَهُ عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ بِأَهْلِ عَرَفَةَ فَيَقُولُ انْظُرُوا إِلَى عِبَادِى أَتَوْنِى شُعْثاً غُبْراً

“Sesungguhnya Allah berbangga kepada para malaikat-Nya pada sore Arafah dengan orang-orang di Arafah, dan berkata: “Lihatlah keadaan hambaku, mereka mendatangiku dalam keadaan kusut dan berdebu” (HR. Ahmad 2: 224. Syaikh Syu’aib Al Arnauth mengatakan bahwa sanadnya tidaklah mengapa).

Failte Freshers 2012

Failte Freshers is a freshers camp to welcome all the juniors specifically at Cork, Ireland.It was a great experience to be part of the committee who organized it n to be part of the family who strives to become the Ulul Albab insyaAllah.

little piece of advice.

sorry for d delayed post, didn't get internet at home since thursday ago.

 

since my arrival, days have been full. mula2, teman junior g city tour and quite occupied with the activities organized by Persatuan Pelajar Malaysia Cork for the 1st year juniors. I guessed this little contribution is just a little gift of appreciation for them just like what the seniors have been doing for us. =)

The same week, there's a Discover Islam Week at Imperial Hotel in cork city. My friends and I attended the talk about "Concept of God in Islam, Christiany and Hinduism" by brother Imran who is a very experienced in comparative religions etc. it was a really informative and interactive, where non-muslims get the chance to ask what is in their mind about Islam. eg: how and by whom Quran is written?

and wat I learned from that other than renewing my iman is that we really need to communicate about Islam to others, to clear their misconceptions so that khilafah Islamiyah itu dpt ditegakkan! so, we need to read Quran and to follow it.

"When you're saying about Quran being so universal on how u we should rule the world in terms of economics etc, why almost all the Islamic countries are listed as poor countries in the world? [in other words why muslims are poor?]" asked by an Irish non-muslim.

Brother Imran answered because "most muslims don't follow Quran in their life."

so here, I'll just list down the other pieces of advice(tambah2 ckt) from a dakwah training by Brother Imran which I attended at Brookfield, one day before the talk.

• If you left Quran, Allah will left you. =(

• "Kul" -Katakan, say it to non-muslims

• We need Allah, Allah give opportunity to us to spread dakwah, to contribute for Islam.

•  Don't beg, be bold and optimistic when spreading dakwah

•  Change yourself, or Allah will change you until your children don't know about Islam in the future

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسألُكَ فِي سفَرِنَا هَذَا البِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنْ العَمَلِ ما تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هَوّنْ عَلَيْنا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا، وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالخَلِيفَةُ في الأهْلِ. اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثآءِ السَّفَرِ   وكآبَةِ المَنْظَرِ وَسُوءِ المُنْقَلَبِ في المَالِ والأهْلِ والوَلَدِ

Bermaksud “ Wahai Tuhan-ku,sesungguhnya kami memohon darimu segala kebaikan dan ketaqwaan dalam perjalananku ini,dan segala amalan-amalan yang Engkau redhai,Wahai Tuhan-ku,permudahkanlah perjalanan ku ini dan dekatkanlah tempat yang jauh tersebut,Wahai Tuhan-ku,engkaulah penjaga dan penolong-ku dalam perjalananku dan tempat kami menyerahkan urusan keluarga kami.Wahai Tuhan-ku,aku mohon perlindungan-Mu dari kesusahan dalam perjalanan ini,kegelisahan diri dan kesudahan yang buruk pada harta,ahli dan anak.

tbe2, terkesan one thing in my mind, why people always ask for forgiveness ble nk travel/blaja jauh2? knape mintak maaf everytime after solat jemaah? n I wonder how can we really mean asking for dat forgiveness? i mean, not literally ckp "mintak maaf" sambil wat mke nk xnk. (tru experience)

n how wud dat be for a person yg kte mmg da wat silap kat dia, then selamba je ckp" mintak maaf" without mean it? mesti kecewa kan? i've been tru dat, n sometimes i even do it for myself. I guess manusia ni ssh nk mengaku salah kot. hmm.(need to improve on dat)

so, cne plak kalau everytime mse doa kte, kte mintak ampun kat Allah, n yet deep in the heart, ade sceptical mind, ego etc. haih. this is so not gud. we need to really mean it wat we say.reflect!

so, actually diz post wud be my vision for a better year in a second year as a medic student in UCC, to become a better student, a better friend, a better daughter  n above all to be a better muslim. aminn.

• focus while studying
•  study smart, plan early!
• eat healthy food
• exercise- jogging jom housemates? =)
• be more interactive
• ask questions in class!
• keep up with your notes
• read, review, recall (3R)
• learn tru experience n mistakes 
• hold on to the end!! =))

Indeed, time spent with our loved ones is the precious moments in life. The more u give love, the more u get back love. so, appreciate the love u had with the people around u n most importantly the ultimate love from Allah. =)

So, this raya we went back to KL (mama's side) but my mom is from penang, then headed to Melaka (abah's side). Everything is great, with all the marvellous food: rendang, ketupat pulut, kuah kacang, nasi tomato turun temurun, n long list to be written. but since ade flu ckt, I cudn't eat much, but I'm grant tho.heheh..(irish slang)

the whole week after that, open house invitations everyday literally lah.hehe.smpai siap konvoi satu hari dalam 6 rumah!! then ade wt mlm lah..siang lah.. busy la jgk lately ni..sakan beraye..setahun sekali la katakan. hehe. n then, when it comes to our turn, mama cooked nasi ayam special punye! sdp! n serius seronok ble dok cte2 psl kenangan zaman bdak2 dlu, main roundest lahh (otai kan?) n etc.

its like amazing, ukhwah masih gagah terjalin for about 15 tahun n counting even ade gado2 ckt.sedangkan lidah tergigit, inikan pula sahabat. ye dak? tp cbe bayangkan relationship kte dgn Allah, like before kte exist, smpi la kte kembali kepadaNya, lg lama, dan paling best Allah xpernah membenci dan meninggalkan kte dan sangat menanti taubat kte walau sebanyak mne pn dosa kte....=)

Hadis riwayat al-lmam al-Tirmizi. Beliau berkata ia adalah hadis hasan sahih.
Daripada Anas r.a. beliau berkata: Aku telah mendengar Rasulullah SAW bersabda:
Allah Ta'ala berfirman: Wahai anak Adam! Selagi mana engkau meminta, berdoa dan mengharapkan
Aku, Aku akan ampunkan apa-apa dosa yang ada pada dirimu dan Aku tidak peduli. Wahai anak
Adam! Seandainya dosa-dosamu banyak sampai mencecah awan langit kemudian engkau memohon
ampun kepadaKu, nescaya Aku akan ampunkan bagimu. Wahai anak Adam! Sesungguhnya engkau,
andainya engkau datang mengadapKu dengan dosa-dosa sepenuh isi bumi, kemudian engkau datang
menghadapKu tanpa engkau mensyirikkan Aku dengan sesuatu, nescaya Aku akan mengurniakan
untukmu keampunan sepenuh isi bumi.

so, after MOC tuh, one week after dat, aku pun g beli bku tuh. I was very excited sbb still terngiang2 lagi suara Uztaz Hasrizal penceramah mse MOC who is the author of dat book. almost half of d book, dia cte penuh semangat mse MOC.

n then, while I was reading the book, I came across this beautiful words.

Roh itu dekat dengan Allah.

Saya mengambil peluang untuk mengingatkan diri saya dan Abdellah bahawa jasad fizikal kita mungkin tidak terasa dengan dosa. Tetapi, hati, roh dan jiwa kita terseksa.

             

              "Roh kita asalnya 'dekat' dengan Allah. Apabila dijauhkan dari asalnya, dia akan terseksa, kesunyian, dan menderita seperti jiwa perantau yang tercampak di bumi asing. Sering gelisah dan mahu mengecap asal-usul yang telah ditinggalkan. Jika rintihan hati kita diabaikan, akhirnya ia akan mati lantaran sakit rindu kepada asalnya. Bawalah kembali diri kita semua ke asal kita, bahawa kita dekat dengan Allah," saya menamatkan bicara di situ.

              

              Bukankah semasa di alam roh, Allah berbicara secara langsung dengan kita dan kita menjawabnya secara langsung dengan Dia? Demikianlah kebersamaaan kita dengan-Nya. Membawa diri kepada zikrullah, membaca kalam-Nya dan bertadabbur menghayati ciptaan-Nya, semua itu adalah perjalanan roh yang kita bentangkan untuk ia kembali ke asalnya. Dekat dengan Dia. Semakin banyak kita berdosa, meninggalkan solat dan Al-Quran, melayan nafsu dan mengikut jejak langkah syaitan, beerti semakin jauh roh kita mengembara meninggalkan asalnya. Semakin jauh daripada Allah, semakin kehilangan bekal dan semakin sesal dan bebal dengan kegundahan yang ditanggung.
              

Tatkala hati gelisah, terimalah ia sebagai pemberitahuan hati bahawa dia memanggil tuannya ke asal .Kepada Tuhan.

Malah tatkala saya memeluk ibu dan mencium tangannya, hilang semua resah di jiwa. Masakan tidak, saya berasal daripada dia. Mencium dan memeluknya adalah kepulangan saya kepada asal.
             Itulah sifir kehidupan.

             Tatkala resah membelenggu diri, kembalilah ke asal. Kembalilah ke kampung, kembalilah ke bonda, kembalilah kepada Dia, Allah yang asalnya dirimu dekat dengan-Nya.

  
Surah Al-A'raaf [7:172-174]: Yang bermaksud: Dan (ingatlah wahai Muhammad) ketika Tuhanmu mengeluarkan zuriat anak-anak Adam (turun-temurun) dari (tulang) belakang mereka, dan Ia jadikan mereka saksi terhadap diri mereka sendiri, (sambil Ia bertanya dengan firmanNya): "Bukankah Aku tuhan kamu?" Mereka semua menjawab: "Benar (Engkaulah Tuhan kami), kami menjadi saksi". Yang demikian supaya kamu tidak berkata pada hari kiamat kelak: "Sesungguhnya kami adalah lalai (tidak diberi peringatan) tentang (hakikat tauhid) ini". Atau supaya kamu tidak mengatakan:" Sesungguhnya ibu bapa kamilah yang melakukan syirik dahulu sedang kami ialah keturunan (mereka) yang datang kemudian daripada mereka. Oleh itu, patutkah Engkau (wahai Tuhan kami) hendak membinasakan kami disebabkan perbuatan orang-orang yang sesat itu?" Dan demikianlah Kami menjelaskan ayat-ayat keterangan Kami satu persatu (supaya nyata segala kebenaran), dan supaya mereka kembali (kepada kebenaran).

our love story ..=)

I've heard a quite number of times that our relationship with Allah is like a love story. at first I understood that with great confidence but then when it comes to telling others and to really explain with feelings, it was a failure.

so, yesterday mcm biasa kdg2 borak dgn abah cte2 psl tauhid. and here's our rough conversation:

me: abah, haritu nopah penah dgar satu ceramah dia ckp cte kte dgn Allah mcm love story. mcmne eh abah?

abah: yes, mmg la.tp sebelum cinta, kte kne kenal Allah dlu..(xkenal maka x cinta ye dak?) juz like a human love between a boy and a girl. sebelum jmpe, nk knl dlu.ble da kenal, nk  tau ape yg dia ske, ape yg dia x ske. so, kte pn automatically try nk tiru ape yg dia ske wat, n avoid ape dia x ske wat..n dalam bercinta tuh, ade pujuk rayu(doa dan berharap dgn penuh tangisan)

me: ohhh..(hati berbunga2 terase indah sgt, teringat cinta2 monyet dlu..eheh.)

abah: tapi ble kte da jauh dgn dia, rse rindu sgt2..makan x kenyang, tdo x lena, mandi x basah. sume sbb kasih syg yg tertinggi kat Dia. sbb cinta sgt, kte rse sehari x jmpe atau contact rse kosong hidup.xcomplete. semggu x jmpe rse mcm bertahun2 lamanye.

me: (angguk2, listening dgn penuh penghayatan. mata bersinar2 )

abah: dan ble jmpe, rse bahagia xterkata. dan xd da istilah cinta laki perempuan, sbb sumenye akan kamil di sisi Allah.

me: try to imagine ble kat syurga nt, kte dpt jmpe Allah, our creator, our lover. our ultimate love! oh, im so waiting for that moment ..insyaAllah.

abah: so, dlm life ni, ape2 pn kte wat kte boleh relate dgn Allah. like solat, duduk seorangan mengenangkan dosa2 kte, dgr lagu2 klasik ke (sambil psg lagu Nak Dara Rindu-P.Ramlee dan Senandung Malam-P.Ramlee) even movies ke. tp igt amek yg jernih, buang yg keruh.

how he describes the usage of word 'when' compared to word 'if' which shows hopelessness. n then the word 'the' and 'a'. please watch .

me: tp kan abah, kte ups n down, mcmne nk consistent eh bah?

abah: ups n down is only in our knowledge,there are no ups n down in Allah's knowledge. kalau x kenal lupa, mcmne nak knl ingat? kalau x terang, mcmne nk tgk dlm gelap..


me: mcm konsep dosa pahala, syurga neraka jgk la kn bah? ohh....=)
 

pendek kata, jom sme2, berinteraksi dengan Allah setiap saat dlm hidup kte bkn literally dlm doa je. n ble

doa kdg, nk lajuu, xdak feelings. (ouch). sbb ble kte rindu Allah, sebenarnye Allah lah yg rindu kte sebenarnye. =')

Diari kembara ilmu di PD! =D

Alhamdulillah, byk pengalaman dan ilmu bermanfaat dikutip sepanjang kembara ilmu ke PD
 [16-19 julai 2012] bersama 3 gadis ayu :mira, syaf n shira.

berbekalkan 1st-hand story sepanjang perjalanan ke Bayu Beach Resort, mata hati terbuka luas. cuba mengambil ibrah apa yg terjadi kerana yg pasti setiap yg berlaku ade hikmahNya. redha dgn taqdir yg ditimpa tu akhlak seorang muslim. pesan abah setiap kali hadapi something yg xbez di mata kita:

Ya Allah, jadikanlah apa yg tidak baik tu baik bagi kami.Sesungguhnya Engkaulah Maha Mengetahui

nikmat mkn cendol atas kesudian shira belanja kteowg.(ok time ni blom pose tau)  n balas kempunan rojak buah kt hotel. malam tuh agenda jln2 di pekan PD looking for selipar n jajan(stok sebulan) n then oat mask time!! heheh. (glowing gitu) =D

setelah solat subuh berjemaah dan tazkirah, pagi tu kami digemparkan dgn :

syaf: weh, side mirror kete terpatah!! spe la yg wt ni!? (panic, anxious)

aku dan lain2 cuak xterkata, takut2 jugak ade owg nk aniaya ke ape..(laju sgt ke syaf bwk smlm?)
setelah diselidiki selama hampir sejam lebih dgn pak guard security hotel, technian hotel n mbr2 syaf yg mahir bab2 kete ni. akhirnya, Teori Mangga accepted!

aku: mengikut ketinggian pokok mangga ni, dan mengambil kira keadaan buah mangga yg da lunyai ni (note: nmpk elok, tp ble ditekan rasa air je, x solid), n kesan air mangga kat weakest point of side mirror ni, aku rasa ni salah mangga ni!!

setelah dihadam teori sains den yg mungkin agk bernas, (heh bajet) , akhirnya sume owg accept teori mangga aka buah plum ni (teori pak guard sebenarnye)..heheh..berjaya pecah rekod 17 tahun kot! bnde nk jd, nk wt cmne..pasrah jelah.

cuak punye psl, kteowg bergegas g seremban from pd bajet nk fix la then halfway, patah blk PD atas sbb kesempoian dan kemachoan ayah syaf utk fix sndri.

#lesson learnt no1: men are from mars, women from venus. n dat makes life interesting. kdg ayah2, abg2 rilex je, mak2, kakak2 yg panic semacam. so, accept it as they are. kalau da dua2 pun panic, xd jd ape la nt..ye dak? hehe..

#lesson learnt no2: always stay calm.jgn wt keputuan terburu-buru.

#lesson learnt no3 : bersangka baik , ask for help

then ptg tuh, trip continues,mkn2, main go-kart (first time experience), mandi laut n naik banana boat (kne jatuh 2 kali) ..bezz!!

malam lg bez, g Umbai mkn ikan pari bakar, udg n sotong tempura n nasi lemak! pergh..sdp!! =)
(tq kwn bwk, walaupun mula2 mcm nk xnk g je kan) heee..

esk, last day before blk, smpt mandi laut sekejap sbb nak hujan dah..oh lpe nk ckp, usrah subuh kali ni berjaya mencelikkan mata sume owg especially bab2 baitul muslim ..ehhmmm2.hehe..ape2 pn, kesimpulannya kne baca ni..CLICK HERE:kawen muda?

(note:macho) after karok-then cari bengkel nk fix/cover kemachoan kete Toriq tuh( da official ke blom nama tuh ek?) hehe. then, borak2 to kill the time..selesai blk umh msg2..

#lesson learnt no4: darah manis, manis jgk..bwk kete hati2 jgn mcm go-kart plak walaupun kau winner..hehe.(nasihat ikhlas dari mbr ke mbr)

#lesson learnt no5: update your parents mne p or asl lmbt blk, nt depa risau.

Talk Prof Tariq Ramadhan at UIA

Alhamdulillah, diberi kelapangan utk kteowg (Atiqah, Dura, Eju n me) to attend the talk In the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad SAW on How Muslims should contribute to the world by Prof Tariq Ramdhan, the grandson of Imam Syahid Hassan al-Banna.

Amazed by the huge number of audience of 2500 , he started his talk by mentioning the gist of this hadith :

Ertinya:
Daripada Tsauban r.a. berkata: Rasulullah saw. bersabda; "Hampir tiba suata masa di mana bangsa-bangsa dun seluruh dunia akan datang mengerumuni kamu bagaikan orang­orang yang hendak makan mengerumuni talam hidangan mereka". Maka salah seorang sahabat bertanya  "Apakah dari kerana kami sedikit pada hari itu?" Nabi saw. menjawab, "Bahkan kanu pada hari itu banyak sekali, tetapi kanu umpama buih di waktu banjir, dan Allah akan mencabut rasa gerun terhadap kamu dari hati musuh-musuh kamu, dan Allah akan mencampakkan ke dalam hati kamu penyakit 'wahan"Seorang sahabat bertanya, "Apakah wahan itu hai Rasulullah?" Nabi kita nenjawab, "Cinta pada dunia dan takut pada mati".

He stressed that the last message from Prophet Muhammad SAW should be spread to all -the visible and invisible world which include the non-muslims.Its our responsiblity to reach them , to spread the love of Islam.

Allah is close to your intention not mistakes.Be interact with Allah because Allah is in you, Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui segala isi hati kita sama ada yg diluahkan atau disembunyikan.always ask help from Allah bcoz we have no power at all utk buat apa2 sbb Tiada daya dan upaya melainkan dengan pertolongan Allah jua

He also advised to make your home special. Remember to always greet salam when you are entering house even when there is no one in your house. this is to repect the invisible world like the angels, jin etc. Macam dlm solat kte pn ble kte bg salam mse akhir solat is actually kte bg salam kt malaikat Raqib dan Atid yg mencatat amalan buruk dan baik kte.

our story with Allah is like a love story. full with emotions, interactions, feelings etc. so the question to ponder is are we in love with our Creator like Allah is loving you every seconds?


He also mentioned that in this life, there are full of contradictions. gud bad, rajin malas, positive negative etc. When we feel happy with the contradictions we are facing, it is called hypocrisy. this is a condition we want to really avoid. a condition where we feel complacent, cukup, ego, sombong, dan biasa dgn sesuatu yg xbaik. eg: you dun feel anything when you raised ur voice with ur mummy when infact you tell people to do gud with ur parents etc. dun practise what u preach is a sin.



but, if we are struggling with the contradiction that we constantly facing in life,is a gud sign! because we are striving to be better, to practise what we preach, to be consistent and istiqamah .

look around you. look nature as a gift not property.its the same thing I guessed if we relate with all the nikmat given from Him to us. like our pancaindera, family, good health, gadgets etc.in other words, change the way you see everything in a spiritual way including the poor.

Prof Tariq Ramadhan also mentioned about the men should treat women better. show that you care you parents, kids, family, friends n society. one of the best quote from him:

Never forget to tell the people you love that you love them bcoz love needs repetition. =)

As the talk continues, he advised to the youth to respect and never neglect your parents bcoz Allah's redha is with our parents' redha. just like what Allah says in Quran:

“Dan Tuhanmu sudah perintahkan, supaya engkau tidak menyembahkan melainkan kepadaNya semata-mata dan hendaklah engkau berbuat baik kepada ibu bapa. Jika salah seorang daripada keduanya, atau kedua-duanya sekali, sampai kepada usia tua dalam jagaan dan peliharaanmu, maka janganlah engkau berkata kepada mereka (sebarang perkataan kasar), sekalipun perkataan ‘uuh’ dan janganlah engkau menengking mereka, tetapi ucapkanlah kepada mereka perkataan mulia (yang bersopan santun). Dan hendaklah engkau merendah diri kepada keduanya kerana belas kasihan dan kasih sayangmu dan doakanlah (untuk mereka, dengan berkata): “Wahai Tuhanku, cucurilah rahmat kepada mereka berdua seperti mereka mencurahkan kasih sayangnya memelihara dan mendidikku ketika kecil.” (Surah al-Israk ayat 23-24).

Behave accordingly, never say you are right, others are wrong. make thing easy for others.

Common misconception about Islam is where people including muslims think Islam is difficult, or shud I say difficult is Islam. this is not true. Islam is easy. its the way how you perceived Islam is.

there are 4 qualities in order for you to contribute to this world.
1.confident - confident with Allah's help to help you.

Pada suatu malam 17 Ramadhan setelah penat beribadat, baginda didatangi malaikat Jibril menyerupai seorang lelaki yang kacak memakai pakaian berwarna putih. Dengan tegas lelaki itu berkata : “Bacalah”.
“Aku tidak tahu membaca”, Kata Muhammad.
Lelaki itu memeluk Muhammad dengan kuat lalu berkata lagi,” bacalah olehmu”.
Sekali lagi Muhammad barkata,”aku tidak tahu membaca”.
Lelaki misteri memeluk Nabi buat kali ketiga,”bacalah”.
“Aku tidak tahu membaca!”, kata Muhammad sekali lagi.
Kemudian lelaki itu mengajar Nabi surah Al‐Alaq : 1‐5,
Firman Allah :

Maksudnya : “Bacalah dengan nama Tuhanmu yang menciptakan."96:1
Dia telah mencipta manusia dari segumpal darah. Bacalah dan Tuhanmu yang Maha Pemurah. Yang mengajar dengan perantaraan kalam. Dia mengajar manusia apa yang tidak diketahuinya.”

in education, know and understand is important. so, when you know, you should be able to talk about that. deal with the reality don't deny it. equip yourself. be innovative.prioritize! invest in education to have a dignified citizen. special advice to the overseas student, come back and contribute to the community. and one other thing is don't have inferiority complex!

Ramadhan is a school for all. eat less, think more! make sure the amount you break fast is less than the usual amount of food you eat to really get the meaning of puasa.

when you realised you have done something wrong, it means you are never far away from the solution. spread forgiveness and learn to forgive yourself because Allah will always forgive you.

remember, to change the world, it starts with yourself! 

last but not least take care of yourself, heart n mind. =)

Trevor's plan is a charitable program based on the networking of good deeds. He calls his plan "Pay it forward", which means the recipient of a favor does a favor for a third party rather than paying the favor back.the plan? haa.kne la tgk bru tau..

basically konsep dia is simple je, bls kebaikan owg kat kte kt owg lain. which kalau kte think deep, its like do good to others like what Allah has been doing good to you n will always be.. its one of the way utk bersyukur la kn? n teringat one tip one way to make yourself happy is by making others happy.

 when someone does you a big favor, don't pay it back, PAY IT FORWARD!

another example like in this story is dat, Trevor tlg seorang pengemis also used to be penagih dadah by giving him some money. with the money, the guy buys new shirt, trousers n he got a new job. its not just dat, at the end of the story he do something dat saves someone life. how? jeng2..(saspens)

n for personal example: 252 viewers from all over the world googled Imam Hassan al-Banna n arrived at my blog. (bkn riak or wat, tp juz imagine, by simply posting something beneficial for others, u may get the credit too. although 99% of the info is copy-pasted) lg2 dgn dunia IT skg ni. but of course, dun ever get trapped by the credits you gained, bcoz its not yours, its Allah's credit. always remember that deep in your heart. same goes with your wrong deeds, bad trends etc bcoz u may never know how strong is your influence.


say, haza min fadli rabbi to avoid pride in times of victory/success..=)) 

 Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you." And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, "This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous."-27:40

so, wat's ur plan for today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year? wats ur plan of changing the world into a better place. or perhaps at least changing ourselves, our family to a better one. insyaAllah..n paying it forward?


easy said than done, but insyaAllah, if you can dream it, you can do it. have a strong will.

Rasullulah SAW bersabda:

"Sesungguhnya apa yang mengikuti orang mukmin drp amalannya dan kebaikannya selepas wafatnya: ilmu yang disebarkan, dan anak yg soleh yg ditinggalkan, atau kitab yg diwariskan, atau masjid yg dibangunkan , atau rumah (tumpangan) utk Ibnu Sabil dibangunkan, atau sungai yg dialirkan, atau sedekah yg dikeluarkan drp hartanya sewaktu hidupnya, maka akan berterusan pahalanya selepas wafatnya"

Hari ni seronok, dpt reunion kt kenduri kawen kakak firdaus ..konvoi smpi 5 kete. .pergh..Ina, Amira, Ayu, Syila n bf, Azfar. ble la aku plak nk drive ni, asyk jd penumpang je..huhu..harus melakukan anjakan paradigma .come on mak tok bole, xkan cucu dia xbole, ye dak? yes, mak tok den still drive lg. teringat mcm kt ireland, ramai sgt owg2 tua ni masih gagah drive, commute etc.

so, mcm bese ble da lme xjmpe, soalan wajib mbr2, family, sedara mara : mcm mne ireland? bez? slang dowg mcmne? cbe ckp ckt? mknan halal sume sng nk dpt? n a long list to be written. dan aku dgn jawapan ala kadar: bez jgk la. owg2 dia friendly etc. n then my mind went blank! (xkan bru blk sat da lpe troih en?)

therefore, I guess its time for me to really tell people wats gud n bad about ireland, as in wat is the best experience I've learned so far, travel around Europe, their culture, their environment , the people and a long list to be written.(minus talking blindly about winter being so sejuk n jawapan bez jgk la tu xbole terima-nmpk xbersyukur) bkn ape, xmo la bgge dri ke ape, tp I guess we shud assimilate their gud points to our country perhaps ourselves right so that our journey of studying kat negara owg ni will be an invaluable experience.

1.language
they say language is the medium that unite people, that define you, your country.n yes, in Ireland, they also have their own language minus English. its called Gaelic. most of the tv shows, news are in Gaelic. its different from English in a way its more fast? or shud I say the locals speak really fast ! its like bulletproof! but as time pass, you will be [grant:ok].

2.people
friendly! honest confession. they are really helpful, xkisah nk tunjuk jln ke ape, even smpai bwk kte g tmpt tu. the guys are gentleman too.hold the door utk owg blakg..its like their culture of being nice to people. not to say, the culture of quieng up n waiting for others utk turun bas dlu etc.bkn budaya merempuh mcm kt lrt msia.sorry to say.

3.food
9 months staying with 3 irish housemates making me realise that they are very gud in keeping healthy. less sugar, less salt, less oil.or if I wud compare it with msia.less means nothing.eg: minum teh, owg msians akan letak 4/5 sachets of gula in a cup, but irish don't.they juz drink tea with juz one or even none. so healthy right? [but not enough taste, sorry to say, I'm a true msian!] n yes, the strawberries are so lovely n cheap. thats the heaven of living in ireland! but on the cons side, seafood like fish, udg, ketam, siput sedut ka, sotong ka mmg mahal laa....kalau da kempunan sgt bru la beli, itu pon yg frozen je..nk dpt yg fresh mhl berjuta2 la..xdapek nk nolong.so, mkn la puas2 sementar dpt jmpe sume tuh kt msia kwn2.hehe..

4.shopping?

disebabkan currency euro is 1Euro=RM4.00, haruslah berjimat-cermat.beli yg mne perlu.maklum la nt kne byr 20% blk, so, kne la beringat dari skg. tp ble time winter mmg bez, winter coats sume lawa2 n murah jgk kalau ade sale , tp kne pandai cari la. but honestly, I wud say msia lg bez shopping. hehe..especially, tdg2, selendang, blouse etc. kat ireland ade je tp like I say kne pandai cari bru jmpe yg bez or else you will be depressed having seen your blouse shrinks, fade in color etc. or perhaps Im juz being too tight on my budget.but hey xkan la nk beli blouse one for 50 euro? which means RM2OO? kalau boots ke xpe jgk.heeee..investment kot.pahala tau beli baju/tdg niat utk tutup aurat. janji jgn boros n membazir.

5.environment
clean. they practise xd plastic bags .kalau nk kne byr. so people kne bwk their own shopping bag la. gud for the env. bcoz plastics need thousand of years utk degrade. kesian bumi kte ye dak? n one thing special about cork, depa xd bangunan tggi2 mcm KLCC etc sume bangunan comel2 je. tp if dublin ade jela yg tggi. but that does not make it not special, sbb ireland or shud i say cork ade tmpt2 landscape yg menarik.waterfall, cork Harbour etc but honestly aku blom g lg tmpt2 mcm Killarney, Kinsale tu sbb bz travel tmpt jauh2 la katakan.(amboi, poyonye) xd la..mmg nk g, tp lg bez kalau g dgn tetamu kn? signal utk owg dubin, birm, london, belfast etc turun cork tau!

6.Travel
Alhamdulillah, another bez thing living in Ireland/UK is that u get to travel around Europe for a gud price. can be so cheap if you are lucky enough. mind to plan your trip in advance with your friends. food, transportation, accomodation, places to visit. as for us, when we plan our Spain trip tu, mmg sume kne cooperate, give ideas, making wise decisions etc. but serious its one in a million experience when we get to travel to countries especially like Spain where once became Islam empire.but hey, learn the history too to get the aura, not just simply snaping pics.



and a long list to be written. enough for now.will update it later after a year with more wise view..InsyaAllah..

Abangku bertunang, dan cerita tauhid. =)

Alhamdulillah,

 semalam telah berlangsungnya majlis pertunangan abgku, Mus n Sha pada tanggal 1 Julai 2012 di umah Sha, kat PD. Cukup sederhana dan dilimpahi barakah dengan doa selamat, serta meriah tatkala abahku dan pak long kak sha memeterai ikatan pertungan tersebut..ecece..rupe-rupenye abah n pak long shat uh are friends sejak sek, sme2 minum kt kedai sume.hehe.smpt jgk la merakam moment tersebut.

Seperti biasa, persiapannya pun bole tahan meriah terutamanya dari pihak perempuan, dengan dibalas 7 dulang dengan 5 dulang dari pihak lelaki khas hasil sentuhan seni mama dan rakannya..dan dari pihak lelaki pula sebelum tu mama smpt berhempas pulas menjamu sedara-mara mkn pg dlu sebelum p konvoi PD.menu? soto, pulut durian, kek2, kuih talam, roti jala etc.sdp!hehe. =)

sebagai ank perempuan tunggal dlm family, saya tumpang gembira dan excited jgk nk dpt bakal kakak ipar ni..hehe..(padahal baru bertunang je, xpe. semoga berbahagia hingga ke syurga Mus n Kak Sha.

dan td bru saje berguru dgn abah cte2 pasal tauhid dan tadabur surah Al-Fatihah. seronok ble dengar, faham dan dpt relate dgn kehidupan kte n alam ni. apabila sebenarnya wujud kte ni hanya dengan gerak dan belas kasihan Allah. dan dalam ketuhanan ada kehambaan. dan dalam kehambaan ada ketuhanan. di dalam ada itu tiada. Di dalam buruk itu ada baiknya. dan sebenarnya penciptaan dua unsur positif dan negatif itu sebenarnya jua adalah dari gerak Allah yang Maha Berkuasa.untuk menguji hamba-hambaNya.

Kita ibarat patung yang tiada daya dan upaya (La Hawla Quwwata Illa Billah)

Dengar, patuh dan taatlah pada perintah Allah. Rajinkan diri baca Al-Fatihah dalam setiap urusanmu.pesan abah lagi jangan pernah merasa diri kte ni serba cukup kelak akan binasa. tetapi jadilah seperti gelas kosong, yang tiada apa-apa, sentiasa ingin di isi dan di isi dengan ilmu, amal , ingatan yang telus pada Allah dengan penuh kehambaan dan kebergantungan.

96:7 :Ketahuilah! Sesungguhnya manusia benar-benar melampaui batas,

96:8 :karena dia melihat dirinya serba cukup. Satu doa yg menusuk jiwa from abah - Ya Allah, kami tiada daya upaya untuk mengingatiMu, maka bantulah kami untuk mengingatiMu. Amin. P/S: esk jmpe Dr. Ting cek gigi berlapis tu..harap dipermudahkan InsyaAllah..

Movies eh?

alhamdulillah, I'm back at seremban, home sweet home!! after 17 hours of flight Dublin-Dubai-KLIA, yeah I'm finally home after 8 months!! after 8 months not seeing my family for real (minus SKYPE) now I can hug them for real!! wuhuuu..excited ok.

n guess wat I managed to watched 5 movies in a row one after another. I am you, One Day, The Vow, This Means War, Albert Noobs. n my fav are I am you and One day. Awesome, brilliant.(minus off scene part la ok)

I am you- cte pyscho , very suspens thriller .a true story about a girl who is depressed bcoz lack of love from parents, lack of support from friends, low self-esteem n etc n she turned up to have a grudge towards that so-called perfect girl who is her neighbour sndri. so, she planned something evil which is ....jeng3..but eventually family of the victim found out.

so, despite tgk movie for the sake of isi masa lapang, I guessed we have to really learn the lessons from it.to fully optimize the experience, time n film so that boleh mengambil ibrah dari cte tu, ye dok?

1.family is the second most important thing after total submission to Allah . so, we really need to appreciate our family, mak ayah, suami isteri, anak pinak, cucu cicit n etc.

2. grudge/hasad dengki is so bahaya in our life where we should try to avoid it in every way we can.

Allah berfirman: Jika kamu memperoleh kebaikan, nescaya mereka bersedih hati, tetapi jika kamu mendapat bencana, mereka bergembira kerananya. (ali-‘Imran: 120).

Rasulullah juga berperingat dalam hadith yang bermaksud: “Hati-hatilah kamu daripada hasad dengki kerana hasad dengki itu akan memakan semua amal kebaikan sebagaimana api memakan kayu kering atau rumput kering” (riwayat Imam Abu Daud).

3.be grateful for who you are , for what ever you looks etc bcoz everyone is made special by.their own unique way. I guessed we have to appreciate this nikmat and make the most out of it n try to improve it yeah? but first thing first we need to recognize our flaws before we can try to improve it yeah?

4.depression should be seriously addressed n thus should be detected earlier, so need help n support from the society-family, circle of friends, media, police, neighbours n etc. budaya jaga tepi kain orang is a good thing in a way ble anak jiran tuh mcm perangai dia da lain, jiran lagi satu tuh perlu la tegur or at least make it known for that family.


so far, there's a lot of updates.one of it we moved into a new house at wilton area near Cork University Hospital, 20 mins from campus early june haritu. byk kne jln woo..haha..xpe2, exercise bguih na..

secondly, 17 June 2012 was a special day bcoz it is my abah's bday, Father's Day and Israk Mikraj. apparently mama wanted to do orange cake, then I say "xpe la, biar nopah wat". so, I made it , n alhamdulillah it turned out delicious. hehe..resipi bgs tuh..

P/S: Alhamdulillah, first year berjaya diharungi dgn jayanya.second year, a better year InsyaAllah.
