31:12: And We had certainly given Luqman wisdom [and said], "Be grateful to Allah ." And whoever is grateful is grateful for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever denies [His favor] - then indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.
ape maksud syukur? adakah sekadar di bibir saja? kenapa Allah salu stress hamba2Nya utk bersyukur? utk kebaikan spe sebenarnye kalau bkn utk kte sndri?
14:7: And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' "
a grateful person will surely become a happy person and lead a calm life. are we not gonna be that person? secara scientifically melalui evidence based medicine on "what makes people happy?", most of the participants jwb I will think of one thing that I am grateful for. see the connections?
mari bersyukur dalam hidup dlm apa jua keadaan baik sesama dikurnia nikmat/ujian, dan juga nikmat yg ada..Alhamdulillah..=)
Pesan Hamka : Yang ada ini sudah harapan kita.
jom contohi doa Nabi Sulaiman :
27:19: So he [Sulaiman (Solomon)] smiled, amused at her speech and said: "My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves."
maaf atas post yg terdelay2 dan kurang isinya..experiencing writer's block , maybe because too many things i wanna say and too many things to do..so end up nothing..so, hope this will be a concise one..ecece..
ok.(mood serius)..
sekularisme? agama asing daripada kerajaan? agama asing daripada politik? agama asing daripada sistem pendidikan? apabila ibadah itu difikir hanya di atas tikar sejadah dan sebagainya.ok.mungkin this is just a vague description ok jom kte tgk ape sebenarnye the real meaning of secularisme.
Secularism is the principle of separation between government institutions and the persons mandated to represent the State from religious institutions and religious dignitaries. In one sense, secularism may assert the right to be free from religious rule and teachings, and the right to freedom from governmental imposition of religion upon the people within a state that is neutral on matters of belief. In another sense, it refers to the view that human activities and decisions, especially political ones, should be unbiased by religious influence
"kenapa salah ke secularisme ni? kenapa xleh praktikkan? kat msia da wt je bnda ni, ade ke x relevannye?"
sangat x relevan!!!!!!
islam sendri adalah suatu agama yg syumul lengkap-islam the way of life. way of life here does not restrict to juz ibadah je, dakwah je, yes sume tu penting! infact it is the core thing.akidah kte! shadatul haq tu sndri yg mana kte sudah bersaksi bahawa Aku naik saksi bahawa tiada Tuhan selain Allah, dan Nabi Muhammad itu pesuruh Allah. adakah setakat tu je? setakat melafazkan saja without doing it, without telling other people about it(dakwah)? its more than that..(continuous reminder to myself)
to become the caliph of Allah utk memakmurkan bumi Allah dan beribadah kpd Allah..and to really integrate islam in your life! dari benda2 simple like mkn, study, ukhuwah, dakwah, politik dan sebagainya kerana Allah.."but why am I saying politik? who are we to talk about politik? we are juz 20/21/22 years old? too young to think about it? "
remember, if its not today, when are we gonna think about the future of our country? are we juz gonna let someone else do it? who is going to rule our country in daulah islamiah? who is going to implement the islamic law in our country? "its too much..i haven't become a good muslim yet" remember one thing if you want to spread dakwah only when you think you are good enough,it will never work! no one would then tellling people to do good if sume owg nk tggu baik bru nk berdakwah..
this is the time to change..to start thinking the future of our country..are we not the future leaders??
nevertheless in the process to bring back the glory of islam, one thing we must not forget is never look down on other people..never! and also never feel self-sufficient.
Surah Al-Lail: 4.Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (different in aims and purposes); 5. As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him, 6. And believes in Al-Husna. 7. We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness). 8. But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient. 9. And gives the lie to Al-Husna 10. We will make smooth for him the path for evil; 11. And what will his wealth benefit him when he goes down (in destruction).
penah rse stage kekosongan dlm hidup x? stage yg fikiran bercelaru? stage yg mcm xnk ckp ngn owg sume? stage yg asyk pkr negative dan salahkan owg lain?sampai at one point kau rse nk menjerit2 mintak tlg.
sampai la at one point kau sedar yg selama ni ape yg kau buat xckp ikhlas lg, pemahaman mengenai islam xkuat lg, kau sndri xpraktikkan ape yg kau ckp, pergantungan kau kat Allah masih lemah bila mana kau bukan terus mengadu pada Allah terus tatkala hati kau resah gelisah, di mana music dijadikan sesuatu ubat utk melupakan masalah kau tu, di mana zikir dan selawat bkn lg basah di bibir kau. di mana kau berkira2 dgn masa kau utk duniawi semata. di mana konsep ibadah yg syumul tu pudar dlm dri kau dek kealapaan kau.
sampai at that moment Allah memberi petunjuk kepada hamba-hambaNya utk kembali mengingatiNya, kembali kepada jalan kebenaran, utk menangis mengenang dosa2 yg lalu, menyesali perbuatannya, berdoa dan terus berdoa dgn penuh berserah diri kpd Allah.
"Those who believe, their hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: and be aware that your hearts only gets satisfaction when you remember Allah .
Alhamdulillah (All praise to God) for making IAW a success. for giving us the opportunity to spread the beauty of islam to people around us and at the same time to strengthen our own understanding and knowledge about islam. it is indeed a memorable experience to be able to interact with all sorts of people with different perspective on how they view their life and also life of a muslim..
the best moment that I experienced is when I was telling about quran to my classmate,Elaine about Quran being universal and full of guidelines not just in terms of our prayer, but also attitude to others, history, science and others. and then when I was talking to her about there is a verse that state specifically about embryology but I could not remember which surah is that and then I was turning the quran (hoping that I could find that ayat) and POP!!!! that exact verse came across!! Alhamdulillah .=)
surah Al-Mu'minun:14: Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators.
and there was a moment that I feel so ashamed on how limited knowledge I have about islam, that I could not answer their questions confidently. maybe its a sign for me to start reading!! to enquire the true knowledge about islam, global issue in islam, and basics little things that I have been practising for 20 years and counting..insyaAllah,..
96:1: Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 96:2: Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 96:3: Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 96:4: Who taught by the pen 96:5: Taught man that which he knew not. 96:6; Nay! Verily, man does transgress all bounds (in disbelief and evil deed, etc.) 96:7: Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 96:8: Surely! Unto your Lord is the return
I also learned a lot about how good listening skills can touched some one hearts and it is the best medium in order to convey message to others. like logically communication is all about two ways communication when someone speaks, the other listen. but how good we are at listening? are we the person who just think we are right , do not want to even listen to others idea, are we the person who just literally thinks others are wrong? well, let us reflect back and improve on that.
Halal Food Festival was amazing! Thanks for all the endless support from seniors and friends..we received positive comments on how great the food was one after another. Alhamdulillah..there's even a guy asked about the name of that dish because he is going to cook later. hehe..and someone came again and again for that currypuff and even help us to promote it to his other friends..and the best part is we get the chance to tell others what is halal food, to correct the misconceptions that we are vegetarian, when in fact we aren't. =)
last but not least I would like to express my biggest appreciation from deep in my heart :
jazakumullah khairan kathira 'May Allah grant you (goodness)'
for those who contributed a lot in this event..may this be one of the effort that bring us closer to Allah, insyaAllah..=))
brought to you by Muslim Cultural Society. Full with exciting and informative exhibitions, debate and tempting Halal Food Festival.
Do come along and bring your friends too!!
seeking forgiveness and forgive which is better? which is more difficult to be done? to reduce your own ego, to admit your mistakes, to sincerely ask forgiveness from someone? to seek forgiveness to Allah for all your sins whether you realised it or not, the feeling of insincere, feeling of superiority and feeling of you are the only controller of what you are doing, feeling of you deserved more?
when infact you are nothing! you know, but actually you don't know.you say you tawakal, you say you are grateful, but you don't practise what you say in your life! why??
because we are humans who are always forgetful, who are easily influenced by the syaitan whispering like stated in quran:
17:64: And incite [to senselessness] whoever you can among them with your voice and assault them with your horses and foot soldiers and become a partner in their wealth and their children and promise them." But Satan does not promise them except delusion.
because we are humans who cannot control our anger, whose ego is too big until there's a feeling of "I am good enough", who always point for others mistakes and the list goes on...
so what? what's wrong of being that type of human since we are ourselves are also humans?
because its dangerous to your soul, because you will then not realised what you are doing a sin. until that time when you don't make doa, repent to Allah, when you don't know what is right or wrong, when your tears are frozen!!!
ok2..so how can I avoid that moment of lupa diri?
Narrated by Abu Huraira (R.A) :
I heard Allah's Apostle Sallallahu 'alayhi Wasallam saying." By Allah! I ask for forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day."
Volume 008 , Hadith 320
Narrated by Al-Harith bin Suwaid (R.A) :
'Abdullah bin Mas'ud related to us two narrations: One from the Prophet and the other from himself, saying: A believer sees his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain which, he is afraid, may fall on him; whereas the wicked person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose and he just drives them away like this."
1.make doa consistently:
Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us , we shall most certainly be lost
2.always take time to reflect upon yourselves and repent with the best repentance (taubat Nasuha):
1- To desist (i.e, to stop first) from committing it.
2- To feel sorry (i.e, have sincere remorse) for committing it.
3- To decide not to recommit it again.
3.always seek forgiveness to Allah and the person you have hurted
4.always watch your tongue
17:53: And tell My servants to say that which is best. Indeed, Satan induces [dissension] among them. Indeed Satan is ever, to mankind, a clear enemy.
Terjemahan: "Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda: “Sampaikan dari ku walaupun sepotong ayat."
jadi, sudah terang lagi bersuluh yang berdakwah ialah kewajipan setiap muslim. dakwah sememangnya mempunyai konteks yg besar bkn hanya setakat bg tazkirah, ceramah agama, tapi more than that..its simpler!ajk solat jemaah, ajk pegi majlis ilmu, tlg member phm certain topik, explain kt housemate non-muslim about islam dan mcm2 lg. tinggal nk wt ke x je kn? jadi meh la kte sme2 berpesan2 kepada kebenaran dgn sabar. and at the same time walk the talk. sebab Allah berfirman dalam surah As-Saf:
Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Mengapa kamu memperkatakan apa yang kamu tidak melakukannya!
Amat besar kebenciannya di sisi Allah - kamu memperkatakan sesuatu yang kamu tidak melakukannya.
jadi, ape tunggu lagi? jom kte target sampaikan sesuatu yg bermanfaat everyday. and at the same time kne jgk la tambah ilmu, belajar n tros belajar from owg yg tahu, bace bku2 agama etc so that ape yg kte sampaikan tu bkn kosong semata-mata tp ilmu yg bermanfaat InsyaAllah. dan semuanya berbalik kepada niat utk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah berlandaskan Quran dan sunnah.
P/S: jom activate dri dan activate owg lain jgk! transform!! =))
hi, sedikit pengenalan bg yg xkenal:
nama diberi nur latifah, tp owg salu pggl tipah/tips/ifa.hehe.. sedang menuntut ilmu perubatan di UCC, Cork, Ireland..cita2 ingin mengejar redha Allah dan menjadi khalifah di atas muka bumi ini insyaAllah.moga dgn sedikit perkongsian ilmu ni bermanfaat kpd dri sendri, kwn2 dan umat generally insyaAllah..=)
1. baca Quran n its meaning everyday 2. baca Mathurat everyday at least once 3. pray on time 4. smile 5. seek forgiveness 6. call or text mama, abah n family 7. kurangkan gula dlm pemakanan!! 8. less music, more islamic lectures 9. zikir : Alhamdulillah, La hawla wala quwwata illa billah 10. solat sunat Dhuha
Sesungguhnya solatku, ibadahku, hidupku, matiku adalah untuk Allah sekalian alam.
