Power of seeking forgiveness

seeking forgiveness and forgive which is better? which is more difficult to be done? to reduce your own ego, to admit your mistakes, to sincerely ask forgiveness from someone? to seek forgiveness to Allah for all your sins whether you realised it or not, the feeling of insincere, feeling of superiority and feeling of you are the only controller of what you are doing, feeling of you deserved more?

when infact you are nothing! you know, but actually you don't know.you say you tawakal, you say you are grateful, but you don't practise what you say in your life! why??

because we are humans who are always forgetful, who are easily influenced by the syaitan whispering  like stated in quran:

17:64: And incite [to senselessness] whoever you can among them with your voice and assault them with your horses and foot soldiers and become a partner in their wealth and their children and promise them." But Satan does not promise them except delusion.

because we are humans who cannot control our anger, whose ego is too big until there's a feeling of "I am good enough", who always point for others mistakes and the list goes on...

so what? what's wrong of being that type of human since we are ourselves are also humans?

because its dangerous to your soul, because you will then not realised what you are doing a sin. until that time when you don't make doa, repent to Allah, when you don't know what is right or wrong, when your tears are frozen!!!

ok2..so how can I avoid that moment of lupa diri?

Narrated by Abu Huraira (R.A) :

I heard Allah's Apostle Sallallahu 'alayhi Wasallam saying." By Allah! I ask for forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day."

Volume 008 , Hadith 320

Narrated by Al-Harith bin Suwaid (R.A) :

'Abdullah bin Mas'ud related to us two narrations: One from the Prophet and the other from himself, saying: A believer sees his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain which, he is afraid, may fall on him; whereas the wicked person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose and he just drives them away like this."

1.make doa consistently:
Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us , we shall most certainly be lost
2.always take time to reflect upon yourselves and repent with the best repentance (taubat Nasuha):

1- To desist (i.e, to stop first) from committing it.
2- To feel sorry (i.e, have sincere remorse) for committing it.
3- To decide not to recommit it again.

3.always seek forgiveness to Allah and the person you have hurted

4.always watch your tongue
17:53: And tell My servants to say that which is best. Indeed, Satan induces [dissension] among them. Indeed Satan is ever, to mankind, a clear enemy.

last but not least , lets always istighfar.
